Experience paradise in sumptuous style. That's what Paradise Grand, a breath-taking yet comfortable five-bedroom, four-bath estate, is all about. The house and private grounds and off-street parking occupy a whole city block of historic Old Town, exceptional spaciousness on the small island of Key West. Copious windows and French doors throughout meld the inside and outside living spaces. A local marina and the waterfront are only steps away across Eisenhower, while nearby White Street and Truman Avenue give easy access to everything the Southernmost City has to offer.
Step through the white picket fence, up a brick walkway, up seven stairs adorned with Victorian gingerbread, to the covered front veranda of Paradise Grand. Or you take the walk meandering to the left, open the gate, and discover the expansive landscaped yard. You'll feel like toasting the good life when you first see the stunning tiled and heated pool in double roman style or large in ground spa. In the rear, nestled among palms, is a pool house with one queen bedroom and full bath. Use it to shower off after a dip or as a guest house should the four main-house bedrooms be occupied. Lush tropical plants ring the property, creating beauty and total privacy. At the rear of the home is off street parking for 2 - 3 cars, complete with an entry gate and Tesla Charger.
The covered side veranda extends the length of the house, overlooking the pool and gardens. Everything you need for alfresco living is here including a long plank table with six woven chairs for enjoying meals day or night in any weather. On either side are conversation areas. The larger one includes a couch, coffee table, grouped armchairs, and convenient access to the main house through French doors. In fact the whole wall between the side veranda and the interior is a large glass expanse that fills the great room inside with ambient light and views of pool, spa and palms.
Inside, the first floor starts with a formal living room furnished with couch, chairs, and coffee table. Tasteful biscotti translucent fabric drapes the floor-to-ceiling windows. An area rug separates the space from the rest of the great room. To the right, a doorway reveals a bedroom with queen bed and full bath. A painting of the Shorty's convenience store sign from Duval Street conveys a "locals" decorative tone that goes well with the room's orange and yellow accent colors. Another door opens onto a small covered deck and stairs to the yard.
The great room continues with an informal, comfortable sitting area complete with couch and chairs perfect for chatting, having a coffee or cocktail, or watching TV or a movie. Beyond that comes the dining area with table and eight chairs set off by a sun-gold wall and brightly colored pelican painting. From here a pass-through and doorway leads into the enormous kitchen with two Sub-Zero refrigerators, two ovens, a butcher-block island with cooking surface, and dramatic black-and-white tile under foot. The large laundry room is conveniently adjacent. The main home has four central A/C zones, including the kitchen.
Just when you think you've seen all of the first floor, you discover another enormous room at the back. A large silver-blue stuffed marlin embellishes one wall, announcing the room's "gaming" focus. Other accoutrements include a pool table, foosball table, small jukebox, TV, bookcases, conversation grouping, and desk.
Upstairs one bedroom offers two queen beds and another has two twins. Between is a white tiled full bath. Down the hall is the amazing master bedroom with a his/hers bath that seems straight from the pages of Florida Design. A king bed decorated with copious pillows dominates the bedroom. A giant screen TV sits ready at the footboard. The spacious vaulted ceiling above the bed includes cooling ceiling fans. A natural wood cabinet and chest of drawers matches the warmth of the gleaming hardwood floors. A soft brightness filters through the windows and reflects off the white walls. Cedar-lined closets here and throughout the second floor create ample space for clothes.
The his/hers bathroom, like the master bedroom, is stunningly spacious. The master bath walls are white, matching the veined marble flooring and all-white fixtures such as toilet, sink, and urinal at "his" end and toilet, sink, and bidet at "hers." Between the two, is a luxurious multi-head shower enclosure large enough for two or more. Across from the shower, you'll find a lavish marble Koehler double whirlpool tub.
If you can imagine yourself venturing out from Paradise Grand, the rest of Key West awaits. In your White Street neighborhood alone, you'll find art galleries, Faustos Food Palace, convenience stores, the Island Gym, yoga studios and Key West Cakes selling really yummy cupcakes, to name a few. Or travel by foot, bike, scooter, or car the eight blocks down Truman to Duval, the central artery of Key West entertainment. There you'll find what Key West is famous for: tours, beaches, museums, water sports, shopping, the Mallory Square sunset celebration, the Historic Seaport, bars and over two hundred restaurants, many with outside seating, some with water views.This home is Pet (Dog) Friendly**(please see below or our FAQ page for rules and restrictions)

This Home has a doorbell camera. The Property may only be used for residential accommodations. No special events, parties, or functions of any kind are permitted on the Property.
**For Pet Friendly (dog) homes there are restrictions that include, but may not be limited to, the following: pet friendly means dogs, no other animal is permitted. Dogs are restricted to one (1) large dog or two (2) small dogs per stay. Due to Homeowner Insurance restrictions we are unable to accommodate the following breeds: Pit Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Presa Canarios, Chows Chows, Doberman Pinschers, Akitas, Wolf-hybrids, Mastiffs, Cane Corsos, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskies nor any mixed breed that contain one of the preceding as part of that mix. Guest is responsible for an additional pet fee of $200.
